Community Work
Outreaches
Where ever a hand is needed, we try as much as we can to get our youth there and helping. Too many times we’ve seen a disconnect with our youth getting involved with community work, maybe because it’s not considered ‘cool’ and our goal is to change that.
Youth Group
Currently we host a Friday Night Youth session at De La Salle College for their senior students. At these session we run activities, play games, reflect on the past week, praise and worship etc. In the near future we aim to open this up to all youth in South Auckland.
Mentoring
In partnership with ‘Heart 4 Youth Charity Trust’, we aim to establish a mentoring program coinciding with our Youth group session we run. We hope to find perfect match mentors to buddy up with our youth whether it be within our Brown Pride aiga or from external helpers.
